Dispute Resolution and Litigation Support – Managed resolution of two-year old, ongoing dispute over $6.5 million in access charges between tier-two carriers using binding arbitration. Engagement included strategic dispute resolution evaluation, tactical case management, attorney preparation, document discovery, preparation of expert witness testimony and support for attorney cross examination of opposing witnesses. HighTide Partner’s industry knowledge and extensive regulatory and dispute resolution experience made the difference in resolving this dispute in favor of our client.

Interim Executive Staffing – Four-month engagement as interim General Manager for industry-leading, business-intelligence and analytics firm focused on cost transactions and revenue optimization. Managed client’s telco cost audit team, created written procedures for key processes, evaluated and coached key contributors, identified improvements in usage audit and trend analysis, conducted extensive search to identify and recruit permanent executive and audit staff members. HighTide Partners was able to help bridge the gap in staffing shortages while the client closed an acquisition to expand and strengthen their organization.

Organizational and Process Analysis – Participated as part of a larger team at a global technology and telecommunications solutions management firm to analyze and recommend key metrics to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements for their client. HighTide Partners’ particular focus was vendor contract management and optimization.

Sales and Service Support - Several repeat engagements to identify new clients or additional applications for existing clients for a top US telco cost management firm. Engagement included participation in client-customer meetings, strategic and tactical guidance for new opportunities, and preparation of presentation materials. HighTide Partners was able to open new doors for the client and find additional opportunities with their current customers.

Industry Benchmarking Study – Developed and implemented industry benchmarking study for clients of industry-leading telco expense management firm. Engagement included strategic guidance on design, marketing and pricing for the study, preparation and execution of detailed questionnaire to gather data from participants regarding their vendor cost audit process, design and preparation of feedback document and presentation of results, analysis and recommendations to study participants. HighTide Partners involvement brought important third-party perspective to help the participants understand strengths and weaknesses of their cost audit practice as compared to others in the industry. Made recommendations that the client and their customers could implement to improve financial results.
